February 4, 2012 - The 88-Key Orchestra: Solo Piano Improvisations on Traditional American and Celtic Music
Pianists Eric-Eid Reiner and Jacqueline Schwab will perform their solo piano arrangements of traditional American and Celtic music on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 7:00 pm, at Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington, MA.
Schwab has been widely heard, on the sound tracks to Ken Burns’ PBS documentaries, as well as at concerts and dances in Boston and throughout the U.S. Eid-Reiner, a Lexington resident and former student of Schwab’s, has been part of the Boston-area traditional music scene most of his life, starting with the Reiner family band and now with many New England musicians. Schwab and Eid-Reiner both draw on classical, traditional folk, and contemporary music roots but each has their own signature sound.
Advance reservations for the concert are available for $12 (or $7 for children, students, and seniors), by mailing a check (by January 28) to Eric Eid-Reiner; P.O. Box 566; Lexington, MA 02420. Admission at the door will be available for $15 (adults)/$10 (children, students, and seniors). Follen Church is handicap-accessible. Please email Eric.Eid.Reiner AT gmail DOT com with questions.

Celtic Beat Says
"...Eric Eid-Reiner is a genius by virtue of his knowledge, a craftsman supreme by his playing, and an artist by his understanding. Of a musical family, he certainly must have absorbed an enormous amount in his formative years."
